My favorite way to shoot on street courses: eliminate the location, and shoot the car instead. Long lenses
at short range allow to blow out any background (or lack thereof) and put the car into the spotlight. The only problem
is that you need a lot of light to shoot that way. I had no monopod in Houston (broken in my checked luggage from
Laguna Seca...) and the light wasn't very cooperative. This is one of the few moments clouds didn't darken the sky
