After the pre-race shower, equipment began to emerge from tarps to get ready a second time,
this time on rain tires. Behind the car the rather unique pit lane with the convention center
structure behind it. Open doors in that building were the preferred hangout for folks
in the pits, not only because of the roof, but also because cool, dry air was just rushing out
of there
