| Freezing the engine heat was my plan when I loaded high speed film and set the camera to 1/1000th of a second exposure time. I didn't plan on freezing THAT much heat - but the cold weather at Portland plus the intense heat of multiple cars lined up behind each other making their last stops just boiled the air in front of that Goodyear bridge at the top of the image. My favorite pit stop photo of the year. | |
