This is the best race series in theworld. This site is the greatest. I think this year is atoss up to win the PPG cup. Name: Tom Boston Website: Referred by: Excite From: Indianapolis, Indiana Time: Fri, 28 Feb 1997 08:09:44 Comments: This is the most complete site for up to the minuteCART news, team and driver profiles, and raceinformation. There are more new driver/team/packages/tracks on the circut than I have ever seen. The team that wins willbe the one that is the most familiar with their packageand can adapt to the new tracks. That means either of the two Team Penske drivers will win. |

Name: Kathy Lee Website: Referred by: Got You Bookmarked From: Vancouver, BC Time: Thu, 27 Feb 1997 18:57:33 Comments: I really admired the driving skills of Robby Gordon, before he copped an attitude. I believe this year will be a tough one, but I like the aggressiveness of Paul Tracy still and the admiration for Parker Johnstone, this has to be his year. My favorite is still and will always be the legend, Rick Mears, he's still my inspiration. |

Name: Randy Hilliard Website: Referred by: Other Link From: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Time: Mon, 24 Feb 1997 10:05:33 Comments: Favorite driver is Michael Andretti. I love this web site!!! |
Name: Colin Cooper Website: Referred by: Got you Bookmarked From: Abbotsford BC, Canada Time: Sat, 22 Feb 1997 10:39:03 Comments: Greg Moore WILL BE CHAMPION DRIVER OF 1997! A little prejudice, and narrow minded, but I have to believe! It's a shame that he lost rookie of the year to an experienced driver from F1. There is something wrong there! But rules are rules. All the best Greg!! |
Name: Christopher Dean Website: Referred by: Got you Bookmarked From: Phoenix Time: Thu, 20 Feb 1997 22:01:44 Comments: Great site! Fantastic photo gallery, the best I have ever come across. I am a big Michael Andretti fan, I also like Adrian Fernandez. I think if the Target team faltersMichael will be there to claim his second PPG Cup. |
Name: Lamb Man Website: Referred by: Got you Bookmarked From: Near Orlando, FL Time: Thu, 20 Feb 1997 13:13:13 Comments: I love indycar raceing. I to the CART GP of Miami and the IRL Indy 200 @ Disney World. Wish there was live online chat for us indycar junkies, eg. (nascar online).I've seen a chat room in IRACE website, but can never find anyone there. Look for Zanardi in 97, i liked his linethrough the corkscrew last year. Indycar Racing II is an awsome program. |
Name: Lorin Hardy Website: Referred by: Word of Mouth From: Banff, Alberta, Canada Time: Tue, 18 Feb 1997 20:08:35 Comments: I've been hoping to find the ultimate Indy Car site. Mysearch is over. As for the 97 season, if Tracy drove hisPenske with a Honda on Firestones all the other driverscould just stay home. Vasser is just a passenger. Zanardi will be king. |
Name: Tina Weisman & family Website: Referred by: NewsGroups From: Southwestern Indiana Time: Mon, 17 Feb 1997 19:23:16 Comments: What a GREAT website!!! What fun to share excitement for the greatest sport in the world with other equally excited fans...also a great place for a disgruntled Hoosier to gripe about the injustice Tony George has done to Indiana's racing legacy...favorite driver and choice for '97 champ?? Michael Andretti, of course (although my husband tends to lean toward Rahal...) Keep up the great work. All departments are so well done and user friendly (pardon the outdated and over-used term). |

Name: Terry Weiss Website: Referred by: Other Link From: Philadelphia Time: Thu, 13 Feb 1997 08:03:26 Comments: I can't wait for Homestead! This should be a great year with some new chasis and new rules. I vote for Emmo for champ every year so I'm a litte lost this year, though I'd like to see Mikey tear it up. But I'll be looking for that Alex Zannardi guy to raise everyone's heart rate a little. |
Name: John Kinslow Website: Referred by: Other Link From: Vacaville, Calif Time: Thu, 13 Feb 1997 05:07:18 Comments: Great Site.. Going to miss Robby this year, hope he does well with NASCAR. Go Parker Johnstone "97" glad to see he decided to stay! Do you happen to know if Parker has a fan club? Thanks and keep up the great work... |
Name: Don Hopings Website: Referred by: Other Link From: Corning, NY Time: Tue, 11 Feb 1997 14:49:41 Comments: VERY GOOD!! Lots of information! Lots of neat stuff. Some of the material is hard to print (wants to print grey on black, '97drivers page). To print pages with graphics that blend to black, there's no easy solution. I suggest using the "mail frame" option in Netscape and converting the attached text to plain text, instead of leavingit "as is" - and send it to yourself. Works for us. Ed. |

Lola vs. Swift Differences could be: Suspension, Wings, Underbody, etc. ThanksWe'd love to get our hands on that stuff, too, but thesethings are protected like the coca-cola formula... maybe in 10 years you'll get plans oftoday's cars; Ed. |

Always look to you for silly season updates and the like.I appreciate all the drivers, but my favorite is Christian Fittipaldi. My choice for '97 champ would have to be either Bobby Rahal or Christian. If it can't be either of those guys, at least let it be a Cosworth-poweredcar. |
Name: Jeffrey Hunsberger Website: The APEX : the Racing links site Referred by: Got you Bookmarked From: Media, PA Time: Fri, 07 Feb 1997 04:32:31 Comments: I have been coming to the site since you first opened your doors. It has been my staple for CART information for quite sometime now and the site has gotten better and better. Nice job! I am a big Ma. Andretti fan and hope that he and Christian can overcome having a new chassis to make a run for the championship. I know I will be cheering them on from the pits, paddocks and grandstands at Nazareth this year. Here's to what looks like a great season.Cheers,Jeffrey Hunsberger jeffreyh@voicenet.com |

Name: M. Ace Website: Referred by: Word of Mouth From: 40 minutes south of Nazareth Time: Wed, 05 Feb 1997 18:00:31 Comments: Fine site -- good companion to CART's own, which issomewhat dominated by a press release tone. Looking forward to more SpringTraining details. Usually I try to ignore the IRL, but I did enjoy theeditorial on their Mickey Mouse race that you have up currently. Sam Moseshad a deftly written account of same in Autoweek. At the risk of soundingspacy, we can only hope that the negative energy the IRL continually spewsout will eventually loop back upon them. Venting completed. Favoritedriver? Tough question -- I appreciate all of them -- just want everyoneto stay safe. But it was a major gas to be a few feet away from Emmo lastApril (people magnetize to him like iron filings). '97 Champ is verydifficult to call. The competition is getting closer than ever. You couldname almost anyone. Anyone with a Honda & Firestones is possible, perhapsZanardi stands out. If the Penske is half decent, never bet against Al --likewise with the Swift & Michael. And how about some of those rookies at Spring Training? Looks like one close season ahead. |
Name: Bad Robert Website: Referred by: Got you Bookmarked From: West Vancouver, BC Time: Wed, 05 Feb 1997 16:57:57 Comments: Great site -- keep up the good work!97 Predictions -- Vasser and Zanardi hot again, but don't count out Mikey and the Penskeboys. Moore will be hot, for sure, and my pick for dark horese with at least one win is Carpentier. Also, keep your fingers crossed for the Vancouver event -- we sure don't want to lose our race!!!! |
