McCaw has offered his team's condolences to the family and friends of Tony and Shirley Bettenhausen who were tragically killed in a light plane accident in Kentucky this morning. The team's thoughts are also with the families of fellow passengers Russ Roberts, a co-team owner at Bettenhausen Motorsports, and a fourth passenger, an Indianapolis businessman who was also lost in this tragedy. "The Bettenhausen family has been one of the great competitors in Champ Car racing over many, many years and has made a significant contribution to the sport. Tony, Shirley, and Russ were good friends, and this loss will be significant to the CART community and the sport in general. We will miss them," said
