U.S. 500 Sells All 90,000 Grand Stand Seats
All 90,000 reserved grandstand seats for Sunday's inaugural U.S. 500 at Michigan international Speedway have been sold, organizers said.

"This is a testament to the IndyCar fans who want to watch the true stars of the sport," said U.S. 500 General Manager Rena Shanaman.

Tickets for the infield are still available. A total crowd of 100,000 is expected.

A.J. Foyt On Good Morning America
At 7 a.m. Friday morning, A.J. Foyt will appear on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Average Drops At Indy 500
In 1995 the starting field for the Indianapolis 500 had a total of 129 years of experience in the race.

This year boasts only 75 years. A record low? Of course not. But low it is.

The 75 driver-starts this year is the lowest since 1931, when the 28 veterans in a 40-car field had 71 previous starts.

Official Cause Of Brayton's Death Partially Released
An autopsy showed Indianapolis 500 pole-winner Scott Brayton died of a basal skull fracture, Speedway medical director Dr. Henry Bock said today.

Bock said Ward indicated the full autopsy report would be released at a later time.

Brayton was buried in his hometown of Coldwater, Mich., on Wednesday.
