In an effort to maximize its IndyCar effort for 1997 and beyond, the Della Penna Motorsports Team has moved its headquarters form Campbell, California, to Indianapolis, it was announced by team owner John Della Penna.

"We decided this was the right time to make a move," said Della Penna. "Our timing is perfect with our switch to IndyCar from the Indy Racing League."

The new facility, located at 8227 Northwest Boulevard, Suite 300, in northwest Indianapolis, will feature separate fabrication and machine shops. The building has nearly 13,000 square feet of space, with 3,500 of that for team personnel offices.

"We are very excited about the move," continued Della Penna, who will also maintain an office in the San Jose area. "This move gives us a more centralized location once the season begins, which will make it a lot easier."
