Walker Racing’s test with new driver Gil de Ferran behind the wheel of the team’s Reynard Honda on the Firebird (Arizona) road course has been a productive session. Team representatives reported the test was "going well" and that the group recorded track times early in the test comparable to competitive speeds by others on the same Firebird circuit. A variety of layouts are available to teams at the Firebird complex.

Next week, several teams will also test at Firebird including PPG Cup champions Jimmy Vasser and Target/Chip Ganassi Racing in a similar Reynard Honda package. Check the PPG Cup web site for details.
