Following an accident last week at Sebring in which driver Michel Jourdain was knocked-out, Payton/Coyne Racing has elected to not participate in this week's CART Spring Training at the Metro-Dade Homestead Motorsports Complex. Jourdain is reportedly resting back in his native Mexico while the team is prepping for the season-opening Marlboro Grand Prix of Miami at Homestead, March 2. A driver for the team's second PPG Cup entry has not been announced.
