Father/son duo to share Le Mans ride
Mario Andretti will share driving duties at the 24 hours of Le Mans with son Micheal. This was confirmed lastweek by the elder Andretti. The car in which Mario will launch another attempt to finally add a 24-hour win to his near-complete record will be a Courage/Porsche prototype.
A third driver is still to be confirmed. So far, the Andretti-piloted Courage car isn't pre-qualified for the race. Courage is looking for a third driver who can bring sponsorship along to complete the team with the Andrettis. The endurance race will take place on a CART off-weekend in the very busy May/June schedule.
