Fittipaldi Recovery Going Well

May be back in the car at Portland
Kmart/Budweiser driver Christian Fittipaldi will have two of the four screws removed from his right tibia the morning of Thursday, June 5, by Dr. Terry Trammell in Indianapolis.
Christian will travel to Detroit on Thursday evening and depart for a Kmart function in California with Floyd Hall, the CEO of Kmart and Paul Newman. Fittipaldi will return to Detroit for the race on Sunday, the same event in which he finished second last year.
Initial plans call for Fittipaldi to make his first return to the cockpit of the race car for testing on Tuesday, June 10 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in preparation for his first race, the Budweiser/G.I. Joe's Grand Prix on June 22 in Portland, Oregon.
