World's largest IndyCar photo database restores search engine
After several weeks without a search engine, the IndyPhoto RacingGallery has been restored to full functionality. The site currentlyhas over 3600 photos from both amateur and professionalphotographers, and the archive will be expanded significantly overthe course of the next few weeks (between races). The searchcapabilities of the site allow visitors to select photos by driver,year, photographer, race, and key words in the photodescription.
Over 25 photographers have contributed photos to IndyPhoto, includingits two operators (Wayne Duval and Carol Harnett) and Peter Burke ofSpeedCenter. Images can be viewed as small thumbnails and then thefull-size photo displayed and downloaded by simply clicking on thethumbnail. Photos are available for all drivers in the 1997 CART/PPGseries, as well as historic photos taken between 1952 and 1996.
Please be patient because the site is quite busy at times andbandwidth is currently limited to 128Kb/Sec.
