Mark Blundell[Motorola PacWest Mercedes], winner of CART'sinaugural event on the California Speedway ovallast year, was one of five FedEx ChampionshipSeries drivers who tested on the Speedway's1.3-mile infield road course Friday and Saturday.He was joined by Tracy [KOOL Reynard Honda] andDario Franchitti [KOOL Reynard Honda] of TeamKOOL Green, Alex Barron [Castrol-Degree ReynardToyota] of All American Racers and Robby Gordon[Reynard Toyota] of Arciero-Wells Racing.
Blundell was pleased with the outcome afterlogging more than 400 miles over the two days.
"We had a very good and productive two days," hesaid. "We went to Fontana with a big test programwith lots of new ideas and developments to try.We came away very happy."
