Dallenbach removes Moore from probation

Following his recent victory in the U.S. 500 Presented by Toyota, Greg Moore (Player's/Indeck Reynard Mercedes) has been removed from probation by CART Chief Steward Wally Dallenbach. Dallenbach placed Moore on probation for unjustifiable risk as a result of his role in a multi-car, opening-lap accident at the June 21 Budweiser/G.I. Joe's 200 Presented by Texaco/Havoline at Portland International Raceway.

Moore executed a last-lap pass of Jimmy Vasser (Target Reynard Honda) to win the U.S. 500 Presented by Toyota in a race which featured a FedEx Championship Series-record 62 lead changes. He enters this weekend's Miller Lite 200 at Mid-Ohio ranked third in the FedEx Championship Series driver's standings, with 118 points.
