©1998 SpeedCenter Internet Publishing, Inc. PacWest continued testing Monday atSebring International Raceway where Hollywood driver Mauricio Gugelmincompleted 166 miles. With the additional test miles from Sunday, the teamhas completed 354 miles with more miles to come on Tuesday. Gugelmin continued the shakedown program on Reynard Chassis #010 while alsodeveloping Reynard Chassis #001, the first to be delivered to a CART team. Light rain fell over Sebring late Monday cutting the day slightly short.Overall, the test is going very well according to Gugelmin. "We're making great progress. We are running both cars allowing us to workon one while we make changes to the other. Today we were a bit moreconservative with the tires, so we didn't really go for times.
