New CART Magazine ©1999 SpeedCenter Publishing Racer to launch Champ Car Magazine Tustin, Calif., Feb. 23 -- Based upon positive feedback from thousands of RACER readers and the encouragement of numerous key advertisers, Racer Communications, Inc. (RCI) has decided to go forward with the launch of Champ Car, a bi-monthly magazine providing in-depth coverage of the CART FedEx Championship, PPG Dayton Indy Lights and KOOL Toyota Atlantic series. According to RCI President Paul Pfanner, "Taking over the publication of the CART Fan Guide in 1996 was a major breakthrough for us, and this magazine is a natural extension of that project." Details will be announced March 2.
