First time with speedway wings on the small oval

Herdez-backed driver Michel Jourdain Jr. tested on the 0.946-mile oval of the Nazareth Speedway. His best time was a 21.9-second lap, completing 112 laps in the session.

Michel Jourdain Jr., Car #19 Herdez/Payton-Coyne Racing: "The Lola guys worked really hard and we used different settings. We worked mainly on suspension, wings, shocks, the right heights, etc. We learned a lot about the car, using for the first time the Superspeedway wings at Nazareth. The weather was cold and we could not warm the tires as fast as usually, but so far we had a good testing session and I am very pleased with that."

He added: "I think we are now in the right direction and tomorrow, if the weather helps, we will be able to lower today's best time."
