Thrill Promotions L.L.C. announced today, that
, the
leading road and steering wheel manufacturer in the world, has come aboard as the
Title Sponsor of the up-coming Grand Prix schedule for August 27-29 in Irvine,
California. The name of the event will officially change to: "The 1999
Grand
Prix.
It was also announced, that the Speedway International Racing Bistro and Bar has signed on as a supporting Sponsor. Speedway is a well know motorsports themed restaurant in the Southern California area and will provide all the food and refreshments for the three day event.
Champcar.com has learned that Thrill Productions will soon make a major announcement which "should really blow people away." Could it be the naming of star drivers who will join the kartig fun, getting some additional exposure for their sponsors during a non-race weekend in CART?
