He added: "Mercedes-Benz will provide us a new and improved engine. We also have a good relationship with Lola, since we competed last season with its chassis and our new engineer Tom Brown, also has a great relationship with Ben Bowlby, chief designer of Lola Cars international Ltd. "Our driver is ready for new challenges in its fourth full season and fifth in the Series. Regarding our new team, they have a professional and competitive program, something that suits us very well. Undoubtedly, with all these elements at hand the result we will be a successful combination."

Michel Jourdain Jr., Car #19 Herdez/Bettenhausen Motorsports: "I followed very closely all the procedures to finally reach the agreement with Bettenhausen Motorsports. They are very professional and after having a testing in late October in Sebring with the team, I am convinced that they are the best option for us. This please me very much and I am looking forward to start to work with them."
