" Our biggest problem all year is that we have beensharing too much information. Our styles were enough different in termsof the dynamics of the race car that it wasn't helping. Today, wefinally reverted to what we went with last year. We've been doing a lotof different things trying to find something that suits us. Our biggestproblem through most of the season has been showing up on Friday andbeing out to lunch 10th or 15th. It wasn'tperfect, but at least we're inside the window instead of outside the top10."

"I'm a little disappointed because we went faster thanyesterday and lost three positions. I flat-spotted my second set oftires on the last turn and we ran only three laps. We might have gaineda few positions if that didn't happen.

It's close to Detroit's scenario, where we did very well with excellentpit stops. Sunday is pay day, so we'll concentrate on our pit strategyand just try to stay out of trouble. It's very difficult to pass on thistrack, so I'll have to be patient."

" We were lucky enough to get to the mark right away, which was very good because the weather forecast for Saturdaypredicted some rain. I think we were able to improve the car alittle bit more from practice. I'm very happy. I'm very pleased with thecar and I'm pleased for Jimmy. I had clear track in front of me so I wasable to put together two very good laps at the end. To give you an ideaof how important the pole is, if I could have won one more pole positionlast year I would have finished second behind Jimmy in the championship. Starting from the pole is the best way to try to avoid any kind of trouble."

" We made changes to the car overnight and the track hasmoved a little bit to the Goodyears. As more rubber went down, it suitsour tires. We had a real good run right off the bat and then we madesome more changes, but unfortunately the car didn't get better. I wantedto give Alex more of a run. I like that kind of qualifying performancehere because if you start past the first two rows, it's bad. I've alwaysliked street circuits. They suit my style. I'm looking forward to therace. I think we have a good car, although you can always make itbetter."
