My personal favorite photo of the entire season. It was a rainy
second qualifying session at Road America on Saturday, and drivers
who had hoped to improve from Friday were unable to get fast laps due
to a continued drizzle. Patrick Carpentier was one of them. At the moment
I took this photo he was climbing out of his tarp covered car. He almost fell as
his foot got stuck in the tarp. The photo
foreshadowed the rest of his season...
