Once you have shot the Corkscrew from about 30 different angles you start looking around for a new
way to shoot cars at Laguna Seca. Late on Friday as the low sun made
shadows from trees above turn 9 creep onto the pavement, this different look at turn 9
came into my viewfinder. Salles finished 7th on Sunday; his best race in '97
