Tracy's car was working really well on the outside line, allowing him to fly around traffic. |

Just like at Long Beach, the vote was a clear start-finish victory for one picture, while only one other image had a remote chance of winning this vote. Just like at Homestead and Long Beach, the winner is what we photographers call a "Full Car Shot" - the kind of stuff print magazine editors prefer. The question is: is that because that's what people are used to seeing, or is it really something about these photos that makes them so popular? Inquiring photographers would like to know (feel free to comment why you like a certain image - we do read these comments and they may affect how we will cover future events) My personal favorite in this selection was "Name's Pupo, not Poopo" - a great character shot of Moreno, who usually doesn't get the big media attention. A close second in my view was "Nazareth's Natural Beauty" - sometimes a photo can convey a sense of place much better when you step back a few feet and don't frame your picture arount the car. Participation in this vote has dropped off slightly from 79 for Long Beach, down to 74 this week. Here the vote ranking for Nazareth:
