You don't always need the killer cameras to take good racing photos. I was almost embarrassed to pull out this old Olympus OM-1 with wide angle next to folks with about $50k of hardware, but the results I got were worth it. While I usually like to shoot very tight, this place deserves to be seen in full. If you look closely, you'll notice that Gugelmin's front tire is airborne at this moment. Did i mention I have thousands of landscape photos in my files? Add a racing landscape to that.
