I only started watching car racing this year, so I am a rookie at understanding
many things on the track. But in these few beginning months that I've been
watching I have grown very fond of this sport and the drivers. I have always
been an avid sports watcher, following hockey and football and very rarely
missing a game. After only 3 months I already find myself not able to miss a
race. I have never been more bothered by an accident than Jeff Krosnoff's. I've
seen sports figures die in the many years I've been watching sports, but none
has ever affected me the way this has. I actually feel like I have lost a family
member. My heart goes out to Mr. Krosnoff's Wife and family. One day after the
accident I swore that I would not watch racing again, but since then I have
understood that this was just a freak accident. So I intend to watch this
weekend's race at Michigan and every other with my fingers crossed and praying
never to have anybody in the Indy Car Community have to go through that again.
Jeff we all love and miss you
