I live in the Toronto area and drive by the very spot that Jeff had his fatal crash. I am writing you this letter right now on Sept. 27, 1996 to let you know that everyday I drive by that spot and remember what I saw that July day. I want everyone to know that the people of Toronto and surrounding area will never forget that dreadful day. There are still fresh flowers at the site and two plaques on the tree to mark the spot.
