It's frustrating. The combination of whathappened yesterday and the weather is really hurting the Player's teamtoday. We'll keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow's race. From where Istart on the grid, I have nothing to lose.

The track conditions would be consistent if we don't have any rain. When you drive on a wet track, you never know what lies ahead. The most important thing, in this situation, is to try to stay out oftrouble. If it does rain, we'll have a different strategy. But whicheverway you look at it, it's going to be a long, hard day of work. Pit stopswill be very crucial, since we're starting from way back, but I'm confidentwe can manage a good finish.

The car felt really bad in the rain. I just got loose on the track and slid. I wasn't even going that fast. I hope it doesn't rain again tomorrow, because I don't like that feeling.

This is frustrating. The rain really puts you behind the eight ball. We obviously wanted the time to improve the Pioneer car and improve our starting position. It won't matter that we didn't test the car in the rain today, because if it rains during the race tomorrow it can only help us. Rain always shakes things up a little bit.

At the end of the season the single point for pole today maymake all the difference in the championship. Tomorrow, we'relooking for 20 points (awarded for a victory). We did the workyesterday that we had to do. Even if it dried up this morning, Ithink the track would have been slower so that my time wouldhave stood. It's slightly frustrating not to do any laps todaybecause I was looking forward to doing some in the wet. However, the Team KOOL Green engineers put an end to thatthought. We don't want the car running in the wet and we didn'twant to risk it. I guess I I could have stayed in bed later thismorning and had more breakfast.

We'll take the pole and Paul is right up there in third. I rememberwhat happened last year when Bryan (Herta) came up beside me.This year, I'm going to get through that first corner and get onwith the rest of the race. I'm not going to concede anything toBryan at the start. I aim to be leading after the first corner.”

I think we're in pretty good shape. The track has changed a lotsince we tested here, but I think we have a good setup forcurrent conditions. We had a good first day and the KOOL carwas good right off the trailer. We'll get our race motor in andconcentrate on tomorrow. It would have been nice to get moretrack time, but I feel really good about our car. We have goodreliability with the Honda engine and Firestone tires.

Dario is in the lead position on the start. My goal is to try to getby (Bryan) Herta if I can. He's going to be pushing hard becausehe needs a strong performance. I'm going to slot in after thestart, motor through a good race and get the points we need.

I feel sorry for the fans, and I just hope the weather is bettertomorrow. It's disappointing to not have had a chance to go out todayto try to improve our position. I think we will be in pretty good shapefor tomorrow though. We have good feedback from our tests here, and Ithink we will have a good race car for tomorrow. We're starting at thefront which is definitely an advantage here. This is a tough track, andit's tough on the drivers both physically and mentally. It's time torelax to be in shape for tomorrow.
