I'm in shock. My heart goes out to Greg's family. I knew it was a really bad accident but I had no idea it was this bad. Greg was a great race car driver with tremendous talent but beyond that he was a great role model and friend to many people.

We had a good run at first, pretty consistent and not too manyproblems. Our first pit stop was great, and we kept good position ontrack. But right after that we had trouble with the oil pressure andthen we lost the engine.

I feel deeply honored to have known Greg as a fellow competitor and asa good friend. He was a tremendous person and a wonderful ambassadorfor the sport. His loss is immeasurable. Our thoughts and prayers arewith his family and the entire Forsythe team.

This is definitely not the way I wanted this day to end. We had sometrouble with the engine, I'm not sure what. The car didn't feel quiteright most of the day, and then we started picking up a vibration. Finally the engine just let go.

I'm very proud to have started on the pole today and to have been apart of history for Toyota, Pioneer and PPI.

Obviously it is a very bad moment for all of us. My prayer goesout to Greg and his family. It's even hard to put it in words. We areout there to practice a very nice sport and a very competitive sport, butwe are not out there to kill ourselves. Obviously my thoughts go to TeamPenske also. It's been very difficult for them this year. We can't letthese things happen in order to let us eventually think of changingsomething. We are out there to try and be competitive and put on a goodshow but we are not out there to give our lives. Greg will be missed alot, everywhere, inside the track, outside the track and hanging out withus. This is a very difficult moment.

I am so sad. There is no word or nothing. No satisfaction can pay thisback. I don't understand why things happen. My prayer is with all ofGreg's family. Greg was a special person in and out of the track. Thereare no words to help us understand why things happen.

I came across the finish line and I thought I'd won, then Bob [teamowner Bob Rahal] came on the radio and said, 'I have very bad news to tellyou.' I had no idea ... no idea. We are not here for this ... we are nothere for this.

Today I lost one of the best friends I ever had in Greg Moore. In thelast couple of years, ever since I've known him, we shared a lot of goodtimes together. He was the guy I competed the hardest with on the track, and he was the guy that I had the most fun with away from the track. Theguy was going to be a champion, many, many times over. He was my friend. With what's happened, nothing else matters.

Today was a disappointing day for everybody. The loss of Greg is a hardthing to try and stomach. But I've talked to a lot of drivers now and weall just remember Greg on the grid today. He was sitting there in his carwith a gimp hand, smiling and ready for the race; ready to go out thereand try to win it. His spirit was that way. He wouldn't give up a chanceto get in the car, even if his leg was hanging off. That's how I want toremember him. Not seeing the accident. But remembering all of the goodtimes that we had. He was a guy who always had a smile on his face. Hewas always upbeat and always in a good mood. He had a great spirit and Ihope that continues on in this sport.

First, I want to say I'm really sadabout what happened to Greg. I think he was a great guy, and I'm really sadfor his family and friends. I think he was a great guy to be around. It'svery satisfying to win the championship, even though we had some problemstoward the end of the season.

It's so hard today because Greg was such a good friend ofours. We have shared so many good moments inside and outside theracetrack. This is a tragedy to all of us and I can't express to you how Ifeel. The win doesn't matter or anything. My heart goes out to his dad, which I think is hurting a lot right now. We should support his familyright now because it is a very difficult time for them. I will rememberGreg as a great gentlemen, friend and race car driver.

This one hits home. Greg Moore was a good friend ofmine. This accident is really going to make me think about what I’mdoing with my career. We've lost two great guys in the last couple ofmonths, and that's not good. I feel so sad for Greg's dad. Greg was agood kid from a really good family. This is such a tragedy.

We lost a championship today, but more importantly everyone in ourcommunity lost a great friend in Greg Moore. It's a sad day for motorracing and I'd like to express my condolences on behalf of everyone atTeam KOOL Green to the Moore family.

On this sad occasion, I'm still very proud of Team KOOL Green. I'mdisappointed that we didn't win the championship, but we had a tremendousyear to have our drivers finish second and third in the championship. Wehad two very fast cars on track today. Unfortunately, a problem in thepits caught Dario's crew out today. Remember this though, the same crewthat made the mistake in the pits today was the same team that got us tosecond in the championship.

We certainly don't wantour light to shine at the dimming of others. Let's not underestimate thecharge Team [KOOL] Green made in the second half of the season. You liveyour whole life and dream about days like today, and you're never preparedfor what ultimately happens. This guy next to me [Montoya] and our team hada great year. Team Green's tough. They're gonna be tough next year, and I'mdamned glad the season is over. I've known Greg for five or six years. Ithink everybody who's ever driven one of these cars can tell you that maybehe's not burdened with these things anymore. Our sport seems so small andinsignificant in times like this. Maybe this is a good time for everybody totake a step back. Everybody in this sport needs each other. Maybe it's timefor us all to be back together.
