3/02/98:
Confirming the Davis Racing plans for the season: Arnd Meier will run in a '98 Lola, with Ford power andGoodyear tires. The team has the option to go back to a Reynard in case the Lola is a bust. There are noplans to run a second car at this time.

2/10/98:
Several sources mention that Project Indy will be competing with a 1997 Reynard using a full seasonsupply of 1997 Mercedes 108E engines. Makes alot of sense for a mostly German team to use a Germanbrand engine.
