SpeedCenter Fantasy League 1999 Driver Recruiting Prices

Prices listed here include overall team operating expenses. This season, you can hire any combination of drivers without exceeding your starting budget of $7 million, but watch out when adding those discounted spare parts to your team (last year's winning fantasy team won because they didn't have their money tied up in unused engines). Check last year's race results to see how often certain team owners had to get a new engine or a new chassis.

The drivers listed here are assumed to have rides in cars that will be present at all events this season. Just like in '98, when there is a substitute driver in a given car number, that driver becomes the new name associated with that ride. The #11 for example ran all season in '98, but had Fittipaldi and Moreno at the wheel.

We don't plan on any rule addition to allow driver changes, so do your math now - you'll have to live with it throughout the 20 races!

* Startup total is the combined cost of driver with one engine and one chassis, the minimum required to field an entry. You cannot spend more than $7,000,000 total on two drivers, combined withengines and chassis. If you add more spare parts to avoid higher prices later, make sure the total still remains below your $7,000,000 budget, otherwise you willbegin the season paying interest...
